‘Ugg’ ‘Ug’ or ‘Ugh’ is the generic name for sheepskin boots which have been produced in Australia for over 200 years!   The boots were adopted by surfers in Australia and Southern California and worn after their day in the water.  They became a cult surfing fashion item.

Good quality sheepskin allows the uppers to breathe which makes them suitable for barefoot wear.  Fit should be snug initially as the fleece foot-bed shapes to each foot.  Fleeces are thermostatic and will keep feet comfortable in temperatures as low as –30F to as high as 80F.
