The collection from Pas de Rouge combines one of the oldest methods of handcrafted shoe manufacture with a modern twist.  It uses a ‘sacchetto’ technique of manufacture to make shoes without an insole, creating styles that are as light as air and fit like a glove. This particular type of workmanship is very specialist and undertaken by expert craftsmen who have given it a new lease of life with modern technology.  For this reason, the Pas de rouge collection is completely designed and produced in Italy, in the Brenta shoe district, where a lot of the highly skilled workers operate.
